Four arrested after €105,000 of suspected cocaine is seized in Co Kildare

Four people have been arrested after around €105,000 of suspected cocaine was seized during a search of a residence in Co Kildare.
The seizure took place in Kilkea on Thursday evening.
The search, carried out as part of an ongoing investigation targeting drugs activity in the midlands area, was implemented by Garda from Kildare South Drugs Unit and the Kildare District Detective Unit.
The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
Three males, two aged in their 20’s and one in his 30’s, and one female, aged in her 20’s, were arrested at the scene.
They are currently being detained at a Garda station in the Kildare area under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
