Man (30s) due in court after 13 phones and €11,060 cash seized in prostitution probe
Officers seized €11,060 in cash along with 13 mobile phones and various documents during an operation this week.
A man is due in court later this morning in connection with a garda probe into prostitution, brothel keeping and money laundering In Dublin.
The male, in his 30s, was arrested following an operation in North Co Dublin conducted by the Organised Prostitution Investigation Unit of the Garda National Protective Services Bureau (GNPSB) on Tuesday.
During the course of a follow-up search in the North County Dublin area, officers seized €11,060 in cash along with 13 mobile phones and various documents.
Gardai said the investigation is into “persons suspected of being involved” in the organisation of prostitution, brothel keeping and money laundering in the greater Dublin area.

The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested as part of the investigation and was detained in a Dublin city Garda station under organised crime legislation.
A garda spokesman said he had now been charged and will be brought before the courts later today.
"The man arrested as part of an ongoing investigation by the Organised Prostitution Investigation Unit of the Garda National Protective Services Bureau (GNPSB) in North County Dublin on Tuesday, 28th August 2023, has been charged.
“He will appear before Court 4 of the CCJ this morning Thursday 30th November 2023.”
