Gardaí arrest two people as part of investigation into the robbery of Dublin shop
“At approximately 7.45pm on Friday, November 24, two people entered the premises in Dun Laoghaire and threatened staff with a knife,” a garda spokesperson said.
Gardaí have arrested two people in relation to an investigation into the robbery of a shop in Dublin last week.
“At approximately 7.45pm on Friday, November 24, two people entered the premises in Dun Laoghaire and threatened staff with a knife,” a garda spokesperson said.
"A sum of cash was taken from the premises.”
Following enquiries by investigating gardaí, a search operation was conducted this afternoon, Thursday, November 30, at a residence in Co Wicklow.
A man and woman, both aged in their 40s, were arrested this afternoon and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda station in Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
