Dublin restaurant to offer free food and drink for one day only
Little Pyg Terrace, the third venue of the Pygmalion Group, will open in the city centre on Friday.
A Dublin restaurant is serving free food and drink tomorrow to celebrate its grand opening.
Little Pyg Terrace, the third venue of the Pygmalion Group, will open for the first time on Friday in the corner of the Powerscourt Townhouse centre, opposite the Westbury Mall.
To mark the occasion, owner Paul McGlade Jnr has announced an 'eat and drink for free' offer to christen the brand-new Italian tapas and cocktail bar.
The offer is valid from 4pm until 6pm Friday, September 29, with one free dish and one free drink available per person.
Celebrations will continue all weekend too as Little Pyg Terrace is slashing food and drink prices up to 50pc to celebrate the launch, excluding ‘top shelf’ brands.
The European-style joint will bring a unique indoor and outdoor dining experience to Dublin, allowing customers to seamlessly transition from a cosy and stylish indoor bar to an al fresco banquet.
Renowned mixologist Andrea Grechi will bring the exciting new ‘Pygtail’ menu to life at Little Pyg Terrace, from signature cocktails to expertly made classics.
If cocktails aren’t your thing, the venue also boasts an extensive wine list, primarily focusing on some of the finest imports from Italy, ensuring a perfect pairing for every plate”.
And the restaurant promises to source the finest ingredients to be prepared by Head Chef Frederico Rapali, who has been poached all the way from Italy.

Some of the Italian tapas on the menu will include the Selection Board, a chef's selection of meats and cheese from Italy; Montanarine Fritte, which are traditional Neapolitan small fried pizzas with authentic toppings; and the burrata plate - all made to share.
Speaking about the exciting new venue, owner Paul McGlade Jnr said: “We are looking to create a vibrant atmosphere where people can enjoy a drink and share some top-quality Italian food.
“We are proud to have secured a custom-built Void sound system which will make Little Pyg Terrace the perfect environment for listening to and playing vinyl. No doubt everyone will be up dancing late into the night!”
Little Pyg Terrace opens its doors to the public tomorrow, September 29, from 4pm – 1am.
Open every day from 1pm - 1am, bookings can be made via littlepyg.com.
