A video showing the moment looters break into Arnotts department store during Thursday’s riots has gone viral on social media. The clip shows a group of masked thugs pushing against the shutters on the Abbey Street entrance to the popular Dublin store. The barrier briefly holds the mob back before they finally push through and squeeze through the gap. Within seconds, a group of thugs – who have their faces covered – race into the shop to begin their looting. Yesterday, Arnotts reopened for business after staff worked through the night to clean up the store.
